The second belated bone marrow relapse.

The boy fell ill on August, 1999. After one year of treatment he was given a recharge on supportive therapy. But the illness was not over. On May, 2002 the boy had a relapse. Again Alexey had to suffer exhausting hemotherapy.

Two years had gone by. On January 14 the boy arrived to hematology ward with the second relapse. Now only one thing can save the life of little boy – it is bone marrow transplantation.

Alexey’s mother Tatiana Andreevna brings up three children on her own. Alexey has a brother (17 years old) and a sister (14 years old).

After typing it has become known that nobody of relatives can be right as a donor of bone marrow fir Alexey.

It is necessary to carry out allogenic transplant of bone marrow from unrelated donor. Unfortunately such transplantation can not be made in Ukraine. The boy has to go to Minsk or another country.

Mother does not have enough money to help her child and she has no hope left.

Alexey has already been waiting for a BMT for 7 month. He passed all ten blocks of anti-relapse hemotherapy.

The boy struggles with his illness and hopes. Alexey will die if transplantation will not be carried out. Now we are trying to collect money for BMT.
